Taking Corrections Does Not Make You Foolish, It Makes You Stronger

There is a silent worry we all hold that we don’t talk about. It is the fear of being proved wrong. Whether it's a teacher circling your mistake in red ink, a parent pointing out what you did wrong, or a buddy calling you out, it can feel like a spotlight has dropped on your weaknesses. Your first instinct might be to defend yourself, to shrink back, or to act as if you don't care. There's a little voice that says you look a fool when you are corrected.
